Patrick is also an expreienced tutor, teaching Guitar, Bass Guitar, Music Theory, Production, and Composition to a wide range of students for 7 years alongside his work as a musician. Patrick teaches privately and taught at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in his year as a junior fellow. As well as a composition qualifications, Patrick has achieved grade 8 (Distinction) in Guitar and grade 7 (Distinction) in Piano. He has performed extensively as a professional solo classical guitarist and has been the recipient of awards in several nationwide competitions. Patrick has also played in award winning bands as an ensemble jazz and rock/pop guitarist and bass guitarist. His award winning compositions receive professional, public performances and he curates, writes for and performs in his own concert series and ensemble. His music productions enjoy regular releases on esteemed labels and have been played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, and at music festivals around the world.
Patrick’s wide-ranging experience and knowledge can take your musicianship to the next level from whatever your current stage and whatever your interests may be. He hopes to make his lessons educational, inspiring, and most of all, enjoyable.
Patrick is capable of accommodating all genres. Although specialising in classical, contemporary classical and experimental music, Patrick is well educated and practiced in Jazz, soul, pop, folk, rock, metal.
